Takeshi Kobayashi

musician

He is a leading figure in the Japanese music scene, having produced music for Mr. Children and many other artists as well as film music. He has been organizing the outdoor music event “ap bank fes” since 2005, and last year he performed at Tokyo Dome for the first time. In 2010, he established the “kurkku project” as a place to put into practice a sustainable society, and in 2010, he established an agricultural production corporation, “Kosu Co. He is a general producer who has been a pioneer in efforts toward a sustainable society, including the launch of “KURKKU FIELDS,” a farm and park that will embody the cycle of food and energy, in 2019.

Art Director / President of Art Front Gallery

Born in Niigata Prefecture in 1946. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts. In 1971, he established “Yuria Pemupel Studio” with students and graduates of Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, and was involved in the planning and production of exhibitions, concerts, and theater productions. In 1982, he established Art Front Gallery Inc. He has been involved in the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale (2000~), Setouchi Triennale (2010~), Boso Triennale Ichihara Art x Mix (2014, 2021), North Alps International Art Festival (2017, 2021), Okunotono International Art Festival (2017, 2021), and the Okunotono International Art Festival (2017, 2021). (2017, 2021), “North Alps International Art Festival” (2017, 2021), “Okunoto International Art Festival” (2017, 2021), and “100 Years Later Art Festival: Environment and Desire – Uchiboso Art Fest” (2024). Ryo Toyofuku

Artist / Principal, Chiba Art Preparatory School

Born in Tokyo in 1976. Works at the base in Chiba. He creates spaces where people gather by expressing the external world he has seen, heard, and experienced as a project through visual, experiential, and interactional devices. The artist creates site-specific works, referencing elements specific to the local area, such as history and climate. He often conducts workshops in the process of production or using the completed works as a stage, and his theme is to relate to others through his own works.

He also serves as the head of Chiba Art Preparatory School, supporting those who aspire to pursue a career in art, and is the art director of the art festivals “ICHIHARA ART x MIX 2020+” (2021) and “100 Years Later Art Festival” (2024).

Rikako Nagashima

Graphic Designer / village® President

Born in 1980, he graduated from Musashino Art University in 2003 and established village® in 2014. With visual identity design, signage planning, book design, and other visual language as his foundation, he acts as an intermediary for the concept and idea of the subject and translates them into color and form in the areas of art, cultural activities, environmental activities, welfare activities, and others. In recent years, he has been incorporating waste reduction, recycling, and low-impact material choices into his designs in order to reduce the environmental impact of the production process. Past projects include “Sapporo International Art Festival: City and Nature,” a new VI project for the Pola Museum of Art, the Japanese Pavilion at the Venice Biennale of Architecture “Trajectory of Elements,” and “Ryuichi Sakamoto: Playing the piano In 2018, she had a baby and published her first book, “Color and Shape Much More Than Before” from Murahata Publishing, which describes her views on society that came to light through the difficulties of balancing childcare and design work.
