Past Initiatives
Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture, has held the art festival "Ichihara Art x Mix" since 2014 with the aim of solving regional issues and expanding the population of exchange, and has been working to rediscover and utilize the charm of the region through art. In 2024, five Uchiboso cities (Ichihara, Kisarazu, Kimitsu, Sodegaura, and Futtsu) will continue this effort by holding the "Chiba Prefecture 150th Anniversary Art Festival: Environment and Desire - Uchiboso Art Fest" in collaboration with the public and private sectors. 2027 will further develop this project, and Chiba Prefecture, Ichihara City, Kisarazu City, and Otaki Town will collaborate to hold the Boso Triennale Art Festival Art x Mix 2027" will be held in collaboration with Chiba Prefecture, Ichihara City, Kisarazu City, and Otaki Town.
